These action learning groups are for people who are involved in bringing about change in their organisations, either as part of an internal consultancy or as a project manager, line manager or director.
 

Why action learning?

Each group consists of up to six members and a facilitator. 

The groups:

  • support and enable the personal development of group members

  • facilitate practical learning based on members' own work activities

  • encourage members to share their skills and help each other to learn

 

What is involved?

Stage One

You will be sent a questionnaire designed by the Halcyon Group to help you to review your current work situation and gather feedback from colleagues.

Stage Two

You will have a one-to-one meeting with a member of the Halcyon Group to discuss the results of your Stage One review, and to clarify what you would like to work on in the group.

Stage Three

There will be five meetings of your action learning group, at intervals of up to six weeks. A member of the Halcyon Group will facilitate the meetings. The arrangements for these meetings (including location) are determined by the group.

In addition, you will have a place reserved on the next two Internal Consultants Development and Networking Workshops.

Stage Four

On-going support from members of the group. This is a life-long process !
